Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck (born Benjamin Geza Affleck on 15 August 1972 in Berkeley, California, USA) is an actor, producer, director and screenwriter America.
Biography
Ben Affleck was born in California but grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His father was a social worker who had divorced in the meantime. His mother was a school teacher. From his youth, he played roles in television films, sometimes with his brother Casey Affleck, born in 1975. Thus he made his debut on the small screen at the age of eight in the series The Voyage of the Mimi (1984).
At that time he befriended the actor Matt Damon. After graduation, they both moved to Los Angeles. They all wrote the screenplay for Good Will Hunting, which was released in 1997 and won an Oscar in 1998, which allowed them to inform the public, and their driver's stalled other roles, but each of them.
Earlier in his career as an actor, he played in independent productions as rebels or Generation Glandeurs (Mallrats). Then he turned to more intimate films like 200 cigarettes, as well as to blockbusters like Armageddon or Pearl Harbor with Josh Hartnett.
In his private life he has some connections with the actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez. He married in June 2005 the actress Jennifer Garner who gives him a daughter, Violet Anne, in December of that year. On 6 January 2009, they welcomed their second daughter Séraphin Rose Elizabeth Affleck.
In 2007, out on screen his second film as a director with Gone Baby Gone as in the main roles: his brother Casey Affleck who plays the role of a private detective, Michelle Monaghan and Morgan Freeman. This film is based on an adaptation of a book of the same name by Dennis Lehane, this film makes it more credible as a director with professionals.
