Mark Elliot Zuckerberg was born on 14 May 1984 at Dobbs Ferry (Westchester County in the suburbs of New York) in a family where both parents are doctors. Computer scientist and entrepreneur American, he is the founder and chief executive officer of the Internet site Facebook social networking.

According to the 2008 Forbes ranking of the largest fortunes in the world, the wealth of Mark Zuckerberg is estimated at $ 1.5 billion. He has 23 years to the title of youngest billionaire on the planet.

Student at Harvard, he had the idea to launch a social network of students and program in his student room the first version of Facebook, launched in February 2004. It was an immediate success with other students in the university and soon reached other schools, before spreading to the general public. In 2007, Facebook has become the seventh most website visited and the company is estimated at 15 billion U.S. dollars. Mark Zuckerberg has 20% stake in his company.
