Paula Abdul is a dancer, choreographer and singer syriano American-Canadian origin, born on 19 June 1962 in Los Angeles, California (United States).


Biography
She began her career as a pom pom girl and choreographing videos for popular artists and, later, she turned to pop music. Having taught dance and worked her little voice, she had to pull out all the stops to get out his debut album Forever Your Girl, in 1988. This album has sold 8.5 million copies worldwide thanks to its popularity as a choreographer and advertisements.

Born of a Syrian father and Brazilian mother and Quebec, she began taking dance lessons at the age of 7 years. At age 10, she won a scholarship enabling him to study tap dance and jazz dance. She was the captain of his team cheerleaders (pompom girls), and after graduating, she enrolled in college at California State Northridge and was able to join the team of cheerleaders of the Los Angeles Lakers. In 1991 she launched her second album: Spellbound. More than 8 million copies sold worldwide. The album is memorable for the number 1 success Rush Rush and The Promise of a new day.

In 1992, she married Emilio Estevez. They separated in 1994.

It was filmed in the clip Liberian girl Michael Jackson. Through the album Head Over Heels, published in 1994, she tried a new style and sings a duet with Ofra Haza. The album is a global failure.

Since 2002, Paula Abdul is one of three judges of the television show American Idol.

In the summer of 2007, the television show Hey Paula is presented on the American airwaves. She recently launched her collection of jewelry.
