Arthur Sullivan
Sir Arthur Sullivan is a British composer born May 13, 1842 in London (United Kingdom), died November 22, 1900 in London (United Kingdom).
He is the author of a number of operettas, in collaboration with librettist William S. Gilbert. These are minor works by the most famous of its production, but Sullivan also composed serious music.
He wrote 23 operas, 13 orchestral works, eight oratorios and choral works, two ballets and incidental music, religious pieces, melodies, works for piano, chamber music, etc.. He was also a freemason.
