Selena Gomez is an actress and singer, born July 22, 1992 in New York and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas.
She is most famous for her role of Alexandra "Alex" Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place, Santiago Mary in Another Cinderella Story, or Carter Mason Princess Protection Program. His voice is Karine Foviau French official.
She has recorded three songs for Walt Disney Records and sang several songs on Barney & Friends. Selena Gomez & The Scene is a group: their debut album, Kiss & Tell, was released September 29, 2009 and contains 13 tracks.

Biography
Selena Gomez was born in New York and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. She is Mexican by his father Ricardo Joel and Italian by his mother Amanda. His first role was in Barney & Friends (Gianna) where she met Demi Lovato. His parents are divorced, she lives with her mother and stepfather. She was discovered by Disney in a national talent search when she was 12. In 2006 she was invited in the second season of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in the role of Gwen (in the episode Zack and Cody are the theater).
In 2007 she also appeared in episodes of the second season of Hannah Montana where she plays Mikayla, a pop star who is a rival of Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) and had the main role of the movie Another Cinderella Story. She participated in the movie Princess Protection Program: Mission Rosalinda starring Demi Lovato and made an appearance in an episode of Sonny with a Chance. In late 2007, she was engaged in the series Wizards of Waverly Place.
In 2009, she became the youngest official ambassador for UNICEF. Like many Disney stars such as Hilary Duff or Miley Cyrus, she launched her own clothing line called "Dream Out Loud October 15, 2009.
She has contributed to the revival of the classic Cruella de Vil for 102 Dalmatians. In 2008, she recorded three songs for her movie Another Cinderella Story (Another Cinderella Story).
