His childhood
Taylor Swift was born in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. His father, Scott, a stockbroker and his mother, Andrea (from Texas) is a housewife, the family lived on a farm in the outskirts of Reading. She has a younger brother, Austin. She began by attending The School Wincroft Pottstown (29 miles from Reading). When she was in fourth year, Taylor Swift won the national poetry competition with a poem entitled "Monster In My Closet (A monster in my closet), then joined the college in Wyomissing.

She began singing at an early age and made his first public appearance in eight years when she played the lead role of Sandy in the production of children's theater Grease. At the age of ten years, Taylor Swift began writing songs and to participate in karaoke contests. During one summer, she wrote a novel of 350 pages (unpublished). She admits even then being appreciative of Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton. At eleven, she made her first trip to Nashville, the symbolic and legendary country music, in hopes of getting a contract. She knocked on the doors of all the record labels and distributes demos she recorded karaoke. The following year, Taylor Swift learned to play the guitar and began to develop his writing for the songs. A year later, she signed a deal with RCA Records to help young hopefuls, which led to his meeting with his principal (later) writing partner Liz Rose (they wrote Tim McGraw together). At 14, she signed a publishing contract with Sony / ATV and becomes the youngest songwriter, signing with them.

"I signed my publishing contract at the age of 14 years with Sony / ATV. I signed and worked with Arthur Buenahora, who was a great editing. (Buenahora is now chief executive at Capitol Records Nashville). When I signed, I knew I had to work as hard as the veteran of 45 years who were also signed on this label. I wrote many songs, which were mainly for my own artist project, rather than writing songs for other artists."
