Manny Pacquiao is a Filipino professional boxer born December 17, 1978 in Bukidnon.

It is the first and only boxer in history to have held world titles in seven different weight classes (including 5 major titles).

Trained by Freddie Roach, Pacquiao has won the world title WBC lightweight, WBC super featherweight, IBF super bantamweight, WBC Flyweight belt and the Ring Magazine featherweight and super featherweight. Currently, he is the holder of the WBO belt and belt diamond WBC welterweight champion but IBO and Ring Magazine in the category of super lightweight.

Since June 6, 2008, it is considered the best boxer in the world in all categories.

He was named Boxer 3 times of the year, a record previously held only by Muhammad Ali and Evander Holyfield. He also was named Boxer of the Decade (2000-2009).

Outside of boxing, Pacquiao is regularly actor and singer. He was elected MP for the province of Sarangani in the parliamentary elections of the Philippines, 2010, promising to be "more effective policy than it is on the Ring."

According to Forbes, he is the highest paid boxer in the world with an annual income of $ 40 million.

Year 2008
Revenge against Marquez
On March 15, 2008, Pacquiao faces for the 2nd time the Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez. The fight is called "Unfinished Business" because if Pacquiao knocked down Marquez in the 3rd round, he wins a very close decision and controversial. Following this fight, he won the WBC world title in the category of super feathers and became the first Asian to win three world titles in three major categories.

World Championship WBC lightweight
On June 28, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Pacquiao defeated David Diaz in the 9th round by KO and became the WBC world champion lightweight and therefore in a fourth different weight class. Pacquiao decides after this victory to give up his super featherweight world title to keep the light on. On May 2, 2009, he defeated the British in Las Vegas Ricky Hatton KO in the 2nd recovery, becoming champion this opportunity IBO and Ring Magazine light welterweight, and November 14, 2009, he steals the WBO welterweight belt by stopping in the 12th round Miguel Angel Cotto.

Year 2010
