Diane Lane, born January 22, 1965 in New York, is an American actress.
Biography
Diane Lane is the daughter of Colleen Farrington (a nightclub singer and also a former Playboy model also known as Colleen Price) and Burton Eugene Lane, who was a taxi driver. The maternal grandmother of Diane Lane (Agnes Scott) was a Protestant pastor (Pentecostalism). Diane Lane was influenced by the staging of it during his sermons. Lane was raised by her father after her parents divorced when she was still very young.
Career
Diane Lane began his professional artistic career at the age of 6 years in experimental theater La Mama Experimental Theatre in New York, where she participated in productions Medea and The Cherry Orchard. At 13, she played in her first film with actor Laurence Olivier in A Little Romance. At 14, she made the cover of Time magazine.
She managed the transition from childhood career and his career as an adult. She participated and acclaimed films The Outsiders and Rumble Fish. The next two films which might have catapulted to celebrity status does not pierced at the box office (Streets of Fire and Cotton Club).
Only in 1989 it was hailed in the television series Lonesome Dove. In 1991, the actress co-starred alongside her then husband Christopher Lambert and Daniel Baldwin in the movie Face to Face (Knight Moves). She was nominated in 1999 for her role in A Walk on the Moon where she played with Viggo Mortensen.
In 2002, Diane Lane was nominated for an Oscar for best actress for her performance in the movie Unfaithful and was honored for this film by the National Society of Film Critics. She then took part in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), based on the book by Frances Mayes.
Privacy
Diane Lane attended the rock star Jon Bon Jovi in the 80s and is married to actor Christopher Lambert in 1988 before divorcing in 1994. She gave this marriage a daughter named Eleanor Jasmine Lambert, born September 5, 1993.
Diane Lane is married to actor Josh Brolin August 14, 2004. On 20 December the same year, she called police after an altercation with him and one was arrested. Diane Lane did not bring a complaint and the spokesman of the couple spoke of a misunderstanding.
